I finally submitted my work to Nucleus Gallery, power by number.
Nagisa was actually finished sometimes ago

I hope it get accepted.

  1. Hi Hana,

I just saw this on the Nucleus site and couldn't resist her. She's really striking!

    BTW, where are you from?

  2. Thank you so much for liking my work.
I'm from Indonesia. I mostly grew up there until I spent my teens in Japan. Now, I live in NY

  3. Your'e very welcome! Thank you for the great work! I can't wait to get it.

I'm originally from Singapore, went to college in Ithaca, NY, but now live in Los Angeles. I've been to Indonesia; I love Teh Botol and Kopi Luwak!

Very cool to see an artist from Indonesia with work at Nucleus; Wade is a cool guy. You need to submit more piece to him. Are you connected with any other galleries in LA?

  4. Gosh, I missed Singapore. I like Hainan chicken rice with that dark soy sauce. Yum.
I just sent the package yesterday, so I hope you get it soon.
It was actually my first time submitting gallery on the West Coast.
I'm not familiar with Wade, he's the curator I guess?
But Nucleus gallery was one of the galleries I thought might be interested in my kind of works.
I had my works in NY before. Unfortunately the gallery went under a couple years ago.
I'm interested in submitting my work with galleries on the west coast, thinkspace, gallery 1988 in the future.
Right now, I'm working on my artwork.
It's a learning process for me. To make something that I like and believe in and also submitting them to galleries.
